HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE FOURTH TRIMESTER?

The benefits and work of a doula do not end at delivery. The first 3 months after delivery, also infamously known as the fourth trimester, is a delicate time filled with excitement and questions about first-times. As your doula, I am there to help empower you to feel good, happy and confident assuming your new role as a mother.

Services

FREE CONSULTATION

I will meet you in your home or a local coffee shop nearby; whatever is most comfortable or convenient for you. This is usually an hour long getting to know each other session to see if we are a good match for you as your support person. Feel free to also ask any questions you have about doulas and what we can/will do specifically for you.

AS YOUR DOULA, I WILL:

Provide personal, attentive care and up to date information during your prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum periods
Provide emotional support, reassurance and perspective to you and your partner
Make suggestions for labor progress, help with relaxation, massage, positioning, visualization, and pain-coping techniques for comfort

SERVICE AREA

Whether you are having a planned home birth, hospital birth, or birth center birth, I will travel 20 miles from the center of Austin, TX.

BACK-UP

It is extremely rare that I would miss a birth--but it can happen. The most common reason is because your doula is already at a birth. Other reasons include an illness of either the doula or her child. If I am unable to come to a birth, you will still have my back up attend your birth. We all share the same philosophy of supporting you and your birth wishes.

RATES & PACKAGES

This complete doula package is created to give you peace of mind throughout your entire pregnancy.

Here's what it will include:

One free, no-obligation 1-hour consultation
At least two 1-2 hour prenatal visits so we can get to know each other so I fully understand your wants and needs for your desired birth experience
Formally on call 24 hours a day 2 weeks prior to & after your estimated due date
Continuous labor support at your home, birth center, and/or hospital until 1-2 hours after delivery
Photography upon request
One 1-2 hour post-partum visit to provide lactation assistance and answer any new Mommy or baby questions

Night Nanny / Overnight Doula

$35/hour (Singleton) or $40/hour (Multiples)

8 hours minimum per night. Travel fee applies outside of 20 miles.

Consultation | FREE

60 minutes. You can ask as many questions as you'd like. The goal for this consultation is for us to get to know each other.

Birth Doula | $1500 - $1700
